POSITION SUMMARY: The Club’s Executive Chef, Scott Ryan, CEC, AAC, is highly respected in industry for the development and retention of solid and high performing teams making this a true career opportunity for a career-focused professional.( He has currently turned over his fifth executive sous chef that has landed an executive chefs job at other premium clubs) This position works hand-in-hand with the Executive Chef directing and enhancing the Club’s multiple kitchen operations. Together they will evaluate and recognize potential areas and opportunities to continue improving on an already well-regarded culinary program to continue being one of the best in the Cleveland market. As such, the right professional must be dedicated to their career/profession and growing as a leader. This individual will assume Executive Chef’s responsibilities in the Chef’s absence. Responsible for the effective operation of various kitchens at all levels from food production and service and work effectively with others including peer managers, subordinates, and superiors. Promotes a professional atmosphere that ensures total member satisfaction balanced with fiscal responsibility Oversees food production and food related tasks for banquet functions and private parties. Accountable for all food costs for banquet functions and supervises production personnel used for banquet events. Works directly with the Executive Chef to manage the ala carte Restaurant team.

Job Requirements:
    -  REQUIREMENTS: · The core goal of the Club is to continue offering the best possible ala carte dining and banquet events in the area. · The club will hire an experience leader (beyond a great culinarian) – preferably a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine at a reputable club with multiple restaurant outlets. Hotel and/or Resort experience a plus. · Accountable, responsible, efficient along with flexibility and the grit to help develop a dynamic culture. · Systems and solutions orientated, Proven business and financial acumen. · The ability to lead the team, coach and counsel and develop staff. · Able to follow longstanding traditions of the club and working with culinary team, some with longevity; FIT with culture! · Ala carte experience in refined progressive to casual with Farm-to-table and freshness in style a plus. · Able to produce and deliver high volume catering experiences. · Is detail-orientated and has the ability to develop systems as they relate to banquets/catering and maintaining a consistent ala carte operation. · Has a keen eye and highest regard for cleanliness and sanitation. Takes initiative to deep clean and make necessary kitchen repairs as needed. · Works in harmony with and through team members for the benefit of the membership. Is visible to the membership and works to develop relationships Culinary experience: 5 years (Preferred) Cooking: 5 years (Preferred) Chefs: 6 years (Preferred)

Compensation/Benefits:

Job Duties:
    -  Under supervision, the employee is responsible for the installation of 12-volt electrical and hydraulic fluid-controlled systems and their related components onto various types of motorized commercial truck chassis. Duties may also include the maintenance, modification or repair of stated components. ILLUSTRATED RESPONSIBILITIES Electrical and Hydraulic • Determine the best location for system components installation on vehicle chassis’ and route accordingly. • Prepare wiring for installation by assembling required harnesses. • Install and make functional 12-volt electronically controlled accessories, components, fuses, lighting, etc. on vehicle chassis’ in accordance with company and customer requirements. • Connect to chassis manufacturer electronic system by splicing wires or attaching to existing OEM connection components. • Prepare hydraulic hoses by cutting to length and installing appropriate couplers or fittings. • Install and make functional hydraulic fluid-controlled accessories, components, hoses, valves, pumps, tanks, etc. on vehicle chassis’ in accordance with company and customer requirements. • Modify chassis manufacturer components if necessary. • Test installed systems for proper function. • Tie-up and shield installed components in accordance with company standards. General • Read, comprehend and apply technical information contained in third-party manufacturer manuals or company technical build documents. • Maintain written records of installation or repair work to track activities ensuring work is fully documented. • Work in a safe manner following company safety requirements which include wearing personal protective equipment, completing maintenance requests, and communicating potential hazards to co-workers and supervision. • Organize and perform work in a timely and productive manner at a pace that ensures the completion will be within the time frame specified by the customer and agreed upon by the company. • Pay close attention to detail working to achieve error-free performance. • Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area. • Comply with methods, policies, procedures or protocols established by company management and directives communicated by supervisors.

Job Requirements:
    -  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or equivalent • Vocational, trade or technical school training preferred • Knowledge of vehicle mechanics including 12-volt electrical and fluid controlled systems • Must provide applicable hand, air, and power tools • Willingness to work overtime as required • Forklift operation experience preferred
