Part-Time Adult Workforce Development Evening Coordinator

POSITION:     Part-Time Adult Workforce Development Evening Coordinator

 

RESPONSIBLE TO:    Adult Workforce Development Director


POSITION SUMMARY:     Responsible for building supervision of night staff for adult classes.  

 

REQUIREMENTS:   

1.  Experience in a supervisory or management position.

2.  Positive references, with a strong recommendation from a previous supervisor. Must have strong organizational, 

planning, project management, people and communication skills.  Prefer knowledge of effective learning techniques

and methods.

3.  Collaborates with staff to identify and recommend equipment needs, facility/room utilization and

supplies/materials requirements.

4.  Assists with student enrollment and withdrawal activities.

5.  Refers qualified students to employer or employment services for placement.

                      

SALARY:    Hourly wage $22.00/per hour 

            

WORK WEEK/YEAR:    173 Days Part-Time

3:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday

Job Duties:
    -  We are currently seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual who has the desire to work in a very fast paced and high-volume environment to join the Styropek Team. We are seeking an individual who is looking for growth opportunities and would be willing to take on new encounters in support of our team. Responsibilities: Successful completion of the mechanical/electrical training requirements to achieve a fully qualified multi-craft maintenance technician status. Perform and assist in routine service, repairs, calibration, replacement and installation work on electrical and mechanical systems/components. Perform and assist with maintenance activities, adjustments, rebuilding, component replacement, equipment installation, etc. on the following equipment: vessels, piping, pumps, fans, compressors, valves, screeners, & all facility mechanical systems, etc. Read and work with blueprints, sketches, drawings, P&IDs, PFDs, instrument loop and electrical interconnect drawings, instrumentation specification sheets, work order plans, and manufacturer's information. Perform and document system inspections, tests and calibrations and utilize inspection findings to determine repair requirements. Participate in project teams, incident investigations, area and plant audit teams.

Job Requirements:
    -  Technical school diploma and/or 3 - 5 years industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience with a high school education or equivalent. Electrical background desired. Applicants will be required to achieve a minimum score on assessment tests related to mechanical, electrical, and maintenance job responsibilities to be considered. Journeyman certification a plus. Understanding of electrical and/or mechanical repair and assembly techniques, precision measurement hand and power tool use, rigging and hoisting techniques, operation of mobile crane and tow motors Demonstrate a high attention to detail. Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); SAP knowledge
