College Credit Plus
College Credit Plus enables students to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from community colleges or universities while in high school.  Taking these college courses from a public college or university is free with no cost for tuition, books, or fees.

A-Tech does offer a College Credit Plus (CCP) academic courses in  English and math through Stark State Community College for our senior students.  However, there are more opportunities for CCP through other post-secondary institutions.  Each post-secondary school has their own process and procedures for enrollment and requirements to take specific courses.  Students may qualify for CCP classes by their grade point average, ACT/SAT score, or by taking a college placement exam.  If you have questions or would like to explore CCP contact your guidance counselor.

The policy for awarding grades and the calculation of class standing for College Credit Plus Program courses shall not disadvantage students who choose to participate in the College Credit Plus Program rather than in other advanced standing programs. All courses within the same academic subject area will provide the same value for all advanced standing courses, including the College Credit Plus Program, advanced placement, international baccalaureate, and honor courses.
