Scholarships Specifically for A-Tech Students

Ashtabula County Builders Association Scholarship

Four (4) students will be awarded to $500 be used for tools or class fees. Applicants must be enrolled in Carpentry, Construction Technologies, Electricity, or Welding. Application deadline is May 1.

A-Tech Student Scholarship

This scholarship is open to any graduating A-Tech student with a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students must submit three letters of recommendation and one must come from their career-technical instructor. Application deadline is April 1.

Cody Lee Dean Memorial Scholarship

Cody attended the Power Tech program from 2016-2018. His skills and knowledge gave him the opportunity to take on may job offers after graduation. To honor Cody, this scholarship will be awarded to a Power Sports Senior with the same drive. Due 5/1.

Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship

One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a Precision Machining senior planning to attend school. Two $250 scholarships will be awarded to Precision Machining seniors who are working in a related field. Application deadline is May 1.

Gerald J Allen Scholarship

Two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to A-Tech seniors who are enrolled in a two or four year college or technical institute. Applications must be received by Mr. Wludyga by May 1.

Jacob Nurkka Automotive Technology Scholarship Award

This $1,000.00 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior in Automotive Technology. Application is due by May 1st. Scholarship is in honor of Jacob Nurkka, 2021 A-Tech graduate.

James E French Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must be enrolled in either Carpentry I, Carpentry II or Welding I at the Ashtabula County Technical & Career Center and must be from Ashtabula County. Applications must be received by Mr. Wludyga by May 1.

Lester C. Marrison Memorial Scholarship

Senior students enrolled in Carpentry, Electricity, Construction Technology, Horticulture and Power Sports. One (1) Student attending 2 or 4 year schools eligible for $1,000.00 Two (2) students entering employment in related field eligible for $250

Tom Zirkle Memorial Scholarship

Four (4) $300 scholarships will be awarded to Automotive Collision Technology students. Applicant must be from Pymatuning Valley High School, Grand Valley High School, or Jefferson High School. Application deadline is May 1.

Scholarships From Specific Associate Schools

Rotary Club of Jefferson Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to at least one student from Jefferson High School. Application deadline is May 1, 2025.

Grand Valley High School Scholarships

Conneaut High School Scholarships

Elynne J Slater Memorial Scholarship
This $500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Pymatuning Valley High School. Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and plan to major in Business or Education. Deadline is May 12, 2025.

Steven A. Urchek Memorial Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Pymatuning Valley High School. GPA must be 2.5 or higher. Application deadline is May 6, 2025.

The Harbor in the Storm Foundation Scholarship
Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to Pymatuning Valley seniors who are pursuing any type of post secondary education. Applicant must have a GPA of 2.7 or higher. Deadline is May 2, 2025.

Scholarships Open to Students in Ashtabula County

Gary A. Pratt Scholarship
Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students planning to addend a trade school. Applicant must have a family member who is a veteran of any of the armed services. Application deadline is May 1, 2025.

Horatio Alger Association Career & Technical Education Scholarships

By submitting one application, applicants will be considered for multiple scholarships. Applicants must be pursuing an associates degree or a certificate program. Application deadline is June 15, 2025.

Americans of Italian Heritage Scholarship

Four $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to a graduating seniors in Lake, Geauga, Cuyahoga, and Ashtabula counties. Student must be of Italian descent and have a GPA of 3.0. Application deadline is May 19, 2025.

Imagine America Scholarship
