Administrative – Employees within the Administrative Secretary position must possess the following qualifications:
1. Technical Skills
60 words per minute (straight copy).
Good English skills including but not
limited to spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and reading.
Ability to communicate verbally and
non-verbally in a positive manner.
Ability to process information by
computer and hand.
Aptitude for working with numbers (90%
Ability to file and retrieve alphabetic
and numeric material by hand (90% accuracy).
Prepare and sort mail.
Ability to verify all incoming orders
and route to appropriate party.
Ability to disseminate information to
Ability to operate office machines.
2. General Skills
Ability to exercise good judgment.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of school district.
Promptness to both work and completing
Serious commitment to each task and
willingness to learn.
General neatness in work and
surroundings as well as care of equipment used.
