This course is an introduction to the Patient Care career, providing an overview of the profession. It explores the clinical aspects, as well as point-of-care testing. Students will learn and demonstrate skills used in the field. This course provides hands-on skills for assisting with medical examinations and assisting patients with the activities of daily living. Includes a 32-hour externship.
