This program prepares the student for an entry-level position as a Patient Care Technician.  Emphasis is on technical skills necessary to perform personal care to complex patients and implementation of select portions of care plans, including respiratory services and rehabilitation services.

 

Prerequisite:  STNA preferred

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be eligible to earn National Certification through the National Health Career Association in the following areas.  Exam costs are included in tuition.

• Patient Care Technician
• Phlebotomy
• EKG
