The IMPAC program prepares students for entry-level employment in the Industrial Maintenance Field. Once enrolled in the program, students are pre-tested to locate skill caps to develop a specifically focused training plan. Training then includes instructor lead discussions, self-paced computer-based simulation projects, and hands-on troubleshooting. Students are required to pass a comprehensive final assessment on all skills. The IMPAC program provides training in Electricity, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, PLCs, Pumps, and Mechanical Drives. Supportive training also given in Math, Blueprint reading, Transition Skills, Welding and OSHA. Upon successful completion of the IMPAC program students will receive a certificate of completion issued by the Ashtabula County Technical & Career Center.
