The Manufacturing Foundations Program is offered at Conneaut & Lakeside High Schools. It is available to students in grades 9 and 10. The program is a career pathway foundations course that is a component of a series of academic, technological, employability, and occupational courses leading to an Industrial, Engineering, or Manufacturing career pathway.
Students at Lakeside explore Industry 4.0 and the convergence of manufacturing and the Internet. Students examine increased automation, improved communication, production of smart machines that can analyze and diagnose issues without the need for human intervention
