Alex Kennedy has been named a semifinalist for the 2022 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program.
Kennedy is among 620 semi finalists who have been selected from a pool of over 5,000 candidates. The Commission's choices will be announced in mid-May by the U.S. Secretary of Education, Dr. Miguel Cardona. Kennedy was one of six nominees from career technical centers in Ohio. A senior from Conneaut High School, Kennedy is enrolled in the Architecture & Engineering Design program at A-Tech. He plans to attend the University of Akron and major in Mechanical Engineering.
