A-Tech is an approved WebCheck® facility offering digital fingerprinting services for individuals who need state and/or federal background checks in Ohio.
Our WebCheck service provides a convenient way to complete electronic fingerprinting for employment, licensing, certification, volunteer opportunities, and other background-check requirements.

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
*No Appointment Needed - Closed on holidays and possibly during inclement winter weather.

Payment is collected at the time of service. Cash, credit, and debit cards are accepted.

What to Bring & What to Expect
To complete your WebCheck, please be prepared to:
- Pay the applicable fee by cash, credit, or debit.
- Complete the Public Request Form.
- Present a valid driver's license or Ohio State ID. Your identification will be scanned, and you will complete or review the required information.
- Provide the appropriate reason code/description, when applicable. The requesting entity must provide the applicable Ohio Revised Code (ORC) code(s).
- Provide mailing and/or direct-copy information, as applicable.
- Direct copies are sent to state agencies.
- Most state agencies allow background-check results to be mailed directly to an employer.
- If results are being mailed to an employer, the employer's mailing address and phone number must be provided.
Important Information
Minors: A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign the system-generated waiver.
Concealed Carry Permits: Please contact your local sheriff's department for concealed-carry permit fingerprinting requirements.
