CNC – Computerized Numerical Control

Course Description
This course prepares the student for CNC programming, machine set-up, and machine operations. The course begins with the basics of CNC and how CNC controls work. Students will write programs in G-code for both milling machines and lathes using Centurion contols. The students are expected to write programs, set-up the CNC machine and run the programs. In addition, the course will provide an overview on CAD/CAM software.
