Career Night is December 5th

The Ashtabula County Technical & Career Campus (A-Tech) is inviting students, parents and families to  its annual Career Night, Thursday, December 5th from 5:00-7:00. Visitors can learn about the opportunities their sophomore students saw during the Sophomore Showcase events on campus last month. If students were unable to attend the Sophomore Showcase with their home school, they are encouraged to attend the Career Night to see any of the 20 different programs and learn how they can expand their opportunities for college and career.

Parents and students can meet instructors, and learn how students can gain a competitive advantage after high school through industry certifications and free college credit. Each program features Career Trees that demonstrate how the programs at A-Tech can lead to hundreds of career possibilities. A guidance counselor will be available to discuss academic opportunities, and possibilities for college and career after graduation.

“Coming to A-Tech is making an investment in your future by learning skills, earning free college credits and industry certifications and and giving us the privilege of helping you lay out a plan of where you want to go and the steps you need to take to get there,” said Amanda Schumann, A-Tech Career Pathways Coordinator.

Last month, hundreds of sophomores the high schools in Ashtabula County visited the A-Tech to explore ways the school can help them find a pathway to success.
